Skink at play

Two skinks

This tree lizard or skink is arboreal (tree climbing).  It is a curious little animal that would stare at you and not run away, unless threatened.  They prefer to hunt for insects and flies on rotten fruits.  They look cute and colourful but will not fly, unlike the 'flying lizards' that I sometimes see gliding from tree to tree.  Two of these beautiful animals were seen this morning in play mode.
